Getting ready.

Let me do this, son!

Day 3

7:00 am: Quartier Latin – we are five minutes away on foot from the Seine river and Notre Dame - is still sleepy, the sun came up only 20 minutes ago. The air is crisp, people on vespas are going to work, shops are starting to open up. Baquette and cafĂ© au lait for breakfast in our hostel and then we off with the metro to find the small shop of the bike tour company on the right side of the Seine.

10:15 am We are all geared up and cruise through pittoresque streets in the heart of Paris on our push bikes. Tres magnifique. We spent a very enjoyable 3 hours touring
the inner city.

Stefan

We took the metro to the bike tour which is an experience in itself, so many different tracks and train changes but we’ve gotten used to it and don’t get caught in the doors anymore!
The bike tour was amazing but Paris traffic is kinda crazy. I almost got squished by a truck on a side street, talk about scary! Everything seems much closer on bikes but walking is quite a trek. It was nice and sunny and we saw lots of great sights.

Alexandra

We started the day with Noelle, Alexandra,Emma and myself. Rolling our selfs out of bed to go down four flights of stairs =[ but the breakfast was so yummmiii big bowls of coffee and hot chocolate..
Racing off to our crazy bike riding adventure, dodging cars and peddeling our little hearts out. But it really was a lot of fun.

Luv the b/w photo of the avenue of trees - great light, so evocative, beautiful! Who took that?
Travel safe. Maybe stay off the bikes?
